With three business units the leading international metal weavers GKD – Gebr. Kufferath AG (GKD) presents its high performance portfolio from the 24th to the 26th of May at the Techtextil in Frankfurt. Responding to rapidly growing demands for application specific filter media the business unit SolidWEAVE focuses on customer specific combinations of materials and weaving technologies. At the Techtextil, the leading trade fair for technical textiles and nonwoven fabrics, they will present their comprehensive solution competence for woven high-tech constructions. WeaveGeo, a software simulation tool for complex filtration processes developed by GKD, delivers a decisive contribution for the fast development or improvement of individual application fabric characteristics and constructions. The second business unit, WEAVEinMotion, specialised in the engineering and production of process belts, shows innovative solutions for special applications for the production of nonwovens. The trade fair presentation is completed by samples of metal mesh for architecture and design from the business unit CreativeWEAVE.
